Strange mixed menu of American & Mexican food. I thought it was going to be only Mexican food. Servers were quiet & very nice. My husband had the chicken fajita burrito. Looked delicious & fresh. He said it was great. The water & Pepsi were served in large, real glass glasses. Not plastic. Clean....good place. The ceviche at the other table looked great. They close at 9:30....but did not turn us away at 9:15, which I thought was very polite of them. They did not even mention it.

If you're traveling on I-76 and get hungry, skip the chains and eat here! My husband and I love rustic little hole in the wall taco places, but couldn't find the two in this town listed on Yelp, so we stopped at Acapulco Bay instead. He ordered a build-your-own plate with a chile relleno, a cheese and spinach enchilada, and a beef taco. It came with refried beans and rice. I ordered two tacos a la carte, one beef and one chicken. The chile relleno, enchilada, and beef tacos were excellent, but the chicken was forgettable. The tables have a little push button call system that feels weird to use, but the service was friendly and quick enough. Portions were generous, it was a good value.

We were in town for a funeral. Acapulco Bay accommodated a group of 15 quickly. We all had Mexican food and everyone commented on how good it was. I had the Deluxe Combo and it was all good. The server was friendly and attentive. We came back a few days later for breakfast--same experience. Very good food and friendly, attentive service. We will visit again.

We had to make a pit stop for gas and breakfast. This seems to be the only place in town that serves breakfast. Food was ok. In the end I felt like having McDonald's breakfast would have been a better choice.

The food is pretty decent, not memorable.

Breakfast food was good - portions large - eggs cook very well for ordering medium. Friendly service - yummy orange juice! We ran into this looking for another place & glad we did!

We stopped here when Little Bamboo was closed on Memorial Day. We're glad we did. While we love to travel in Mexico we rarely eat Mexican in this country because we hate slop and glop. However, the Molcajete here was really special and had the flavor of the country. This is a true Mexican restaurant. The dining room was very tidy and service was very attentive. They also have quiet, appealing outdoor seating.

Stopped by here for lunch a few times last week when in town on business. Everything was good. I had a burger which was cooked exactly the way I asked for it to be and then another afternoon I had huevos rancheros (breakfast is served all day). They have a very large menu and you can order anything from eggs to steak to pasta to salads and everything in between. Soft drinks are served in HUGE mugs with free refills. Fridays they have a lunch buffet. They also have these ginormous cinnamon rolls which come from a local bakery and are very famous in town. Service at times can be a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush. We were able to sit and enjoy or food. The restaurant can become quite busy during lunch time (but that's a good thing, b/c then you know it's a fav.). There is plenty of on street parking available. Will be back when we're in town for sure!

I got the chicken fried steak, which came with mashed potatoes & gravy, and steamed vegetables. The veggies were mushy and soggy, and the mashed potatoes were sticky and pasty. However, the chicken fried steak was delicious!! My boyfriend got some kind of Italian chicken sandwich, which was very delicious. French fries came with his as a side, and they were great! I would recommend getting the fries instead of mashed potatoes. A HUGE DOWNFALL was the beer. It wasn't cold at all. So if you want alcohol, I would suggest maybe getting something frozen.

Best restaurant in Morgan County. Must try the Breakfast Burrito. Best Green Chile in town. Fajitas are also very good. New Molcajete plate is very delicious with a bit of everything Mexican.

Amazing food! Complements to the chef Jalapeño wrapped in bacon... Delicious and spicy Jalapeño cheese/ bean dip ... Delicious Gorditas.... Delicious and refreshing Huevos divorciados... Deliciosa ! That's all I've tried and they're all tasty. I recommend all items listed. Server was very polite and attentive. Decor is a little sloppy but then again they are remodeling half of the place.

Disgusting breakfast. Cold deluxe Chilaquiles and a steak that came with it was grey and tasted like a salt lick. Worst part was fighting off flies during the meal. Avoid this place.

Not just Mexican! We happened in for a fabulous breakfast! I judge a breakfast restaurant by its pancakes and these rate a five star! Excellent service, reasonable prices. They have American Mexican and seafood! Open for lunch and dinner too!

Food was good. Service couldn't get any slower. Two of us had the monster burrito and both were cold after waiting 30 minutes for door after we had ordered. Gigantic menu.

Tried Chaos Bay again: They're doing a big remodel so I have some hope for the decor, but we'll see. This visit, the one dish I really like was completely different then the last 3 times I ordered it...and now...I hate it. There's just one dish on the giant menu that's excellent and they messed it up! There's no consistency except to be a disappointment. Maybe I need to bring my own food when friends want to meet there and just rent the seat.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
